HS Student of the Week
Jaxson has done a great job recently of understanding the principle "failure leads to success" from our eight keys of excellence. When he has faced setbacks, Jaxson has done a great job conducting re-learning opportunities and doing work outside of class. While some ideas may not come easily it's good to see that he's willing to put in the work that is necessary to accomplish his goals. Keep up the hard work Jaxson. Please come to the office. We Will Be Starting registrations for Northwest College classes for next semester. The window is open to register and it is important to register before classes fill. If you are planning to take a class from NWC please talk directly to Mr. Jones. There are several steps to the process, including online forms, paper forms signed by parent and student, and a district contract with the parent and student. Students should have the maturity and skill to manage an online course, including communicating with professors and college level coursework. The Deadline to register will be December 12th. Talk to Mr. Jones to get started.
MS Student of the Week
Ridge Wilson is my choice for Middle School Student of the Week. Ridge has an upbeat energy and infectious optimism when he steps into the classroom. He consistently rises to the challenge of improving his technical skills and abilities in Art. Whether by encouraging his peers, devoting outside class time to perfect his projects, or accepting peer feedback to incorporate into his work, Ridge brings a willingness to persevere and learn. Keep up the hard work Ridge! Great job!! Please come to the office. –Mrs. Griffin
Gear Up will be held in the library on Tuesday this week during high school lunch. All members, please come and enjoy pizza and the activity.
"Football gear check in will be Wednesday the 19th after school. Please WASH and bring all school issued gear to the equipment closet and check it in with a coach prior to leaving."
HS wrestling meeting Wednesday 12:30 in HS wrestling room. All boys and girls interested in wrestling are welcome to attend.
Pizza with Professionals is Thursday at lunch in the library. Social worker and electrician will be there.
